Summer news…………
This summer the KTCB family lost two very important friends, Denise Flickinger and Kimo Javier. While these amazing people both lost their battles to cancers other than Hodgkin’s lymphoma; their lives were very much a part of our mission. In their memory their friends and family will continue to support Kickin The Cancer Blues and help us fight cancer one step at a time.
We are honored to share that the Kickin’ The Cancer Blues summer concert and fundraiser held at the private residence of Mike’s Barn this past July 3rd in the memory of Denise Flickinger, brought in over three thousand dollars. All of which will be contributed to LLS in it’s bood cancer collaborative.
- In light of these loses and other special donations we have added a page called “Inspirations”.
Simply use our pay pal button below to donate and type in the name of your inspiration. This name only will be noted for the public. Our goal is to never forget those who inspire us to keep fighting!

“This song was written and inspired by the belief that we can talk to our God at any time. No matter what troubles we are facing in life, and how angry or afraid we feel, our God will listen and always be there, as promised. I hope those who listen can feel the faith that, I know, Liz had-- faith that she was not alone. She knew that she not only had the love of her life, Tom, by her side; she had countless friends and family reaching out to her, as well. Most of all, she knew the Lord was there.”
